While helping Xia Yu to apply some ice, the doctor that Lin You invited finally arrived. Huo Yun Chen stepped aside as he watched the doctor doing a check-up on Xia Yu.

Huo Yun Chen finally heaved a breath of relief upon hearing that there was no problem with Xia Yu.

He sent the doctor to the door and returned to Xia Yu's side, carrying the food that Lin You had ordered earlier. He brought the food to the table and started to spread them on the table.

"Have something to eat first," Huo Yun Chen said. "Later, you should go and get some rest."

Xia Yu glanced toward the door and thought that it has been a while since the last time she saw Lin You. "Where's Lin You? Let's ask her to eat together."

Her eyes widened and Xia Yu quickly grabbed the chopstick from him. Sensing that the man was still looking at her, Xia Yu lowered her head and ate her food in silence.

Each time that she had finished a food, Huo Yun Chen would put another dish into her bowl.

The food was delicious but with Huo Yun Chen beside her, Xia Yu could not taste the food properly as she was too anxious. At a time like this, Xia Yu didn't even know what she had eaten.

By the time she came to her senses, her stomach was full and her portion of food was finished.

Xia Yu put her bowl down on the table and watched Huo Yun Chen unbox his portion of food and started to eat. It turned out that Huo Yun Chen was waiting for her to finish her food before he ate his portion.

A warm feeling surged in her heart.

Xia Yu could not remember when was the last time that someone had treated her this way or cared whether she had eaten or not.

Back then, when she was still working as a nurse, Xia Yu was always busy that she would forget to eat her meal. Other than the head nurse, no one would remind her to eat.

Xia Yu snapped out of her trance and saw that Huo Yun Chen was smiling at her.

"Don't worry. You can rest at ease. I won't disturb you as you sleep," Huo Yun Chen said. He pushed the door with his foot and placed her gently on the soft mattress.

After tucking her into the bed, Huo Yun Chen placed a kiss on her forehead and smiled. "Rest well, Xia Yu."

When she finally snapped out of her trance, the man was no longer in the room. Xia Yu stared at the ceiling for a long time before she finally pulled the blanket over her head.

Her face turned red again. She did not even realize when did Huo Yun Chen enter the room to leave the note. Thinking of how he had seen her sleeping face made her shy.

The phone in her hand continued to ring.

Xia Yu looked at the caller ID and was surprised to see Nurse Shen's name.

After a brief hesitation, Xia Yu took a deep breath and accepted the phone call.

"Xia Yu," Nurse Shen's worried voice was heard on the other line. "Are you alright?"

"I'm alright." Xia Yu began to feel that it was strange for Nurse Shen to be asking her this question.
