When Sheng Ruming heard her answer, his eyes darkened. He leaned by her ear as he softly, "Should I help you?" 

Luo Lixi flinched up when she felt his ticklish breath in her ear. She moved backwards as she shoved her left hand on his face straight.

 "You...just STOP teasing me!" she burst into anger by his behaviour. Sheng Ruming didn't listen to her as he took her hand from his face and gently kissed at the fingertip of her forefinger as he bit down on it gently.

Luo Lixi's mind blanked out when she saw what he was doing to her. She felt her heart started to pound furiously as he was nibbling her finger gently.

Right then, they heard a vague sound of footsteps. They turned simultaneously at the source of it when they saw it was a maid. She looked at them as her eyes became wide in shock. Both of them were sitting very closely while Luo Lixi's finger was in his lips. It looked very ambiguous. 

When the maid's sight fell on Sheng Ruming, she felt he was giving her a very frosty look. There was a warning in his menacing gaze. She shuddered as she came back to her senses.

"Sorry. I j..just came to take w.. water." She was stuttering as she hurriedly turned her back towards them. She wanted to fly back to her room in that instant and was blaming herself for coming at the wrong time. After what happened to Nana, nobody wanted to offend Sheng Ruming. 

Luo Lixi felt she could just die now. She tugged her hand in backward forcefully from his grasp and glared at him furiously. Sheng Ruming soothed his facial expression and coughed as if it was nothing.

"Don't go. Do what you need to do." she calmly told her. The maid's back stiffened when she heard it. She didn't waste time as she hurriedly went to the kitchen, poured water in her jar and went away in great speed as if her life was in line. 

Luo Lixi put her hand on her forehead as she felt a slight headache was coming. She massaged it slowly as she felt her temple was throbbing.

"What's wrong? Are you feeling uncomfortable?" he touched her forehead but she slapped his hand away.

"Don't touch me. You pervert." she angrily spat the words through her clenched teeth.

To say that the amount of stimulation she had received today was a lot would be an understatement.

First, she had found out the person who saved her was him whom she had met after more than ten years. He treated her generously but then she witnessed his scary side which she didn't know about in the past. 

Well, it should be said that people could change in a single day while it was ten whole years for him. And when she accepted him as his boyfriend, he started to show his shamelessness without any reservation. Without having even realized the pounding of her heart, he started to do these perverted things to her.

'Argh! Is it very late to reject him now?!' she thought in her mind as she looked at his handsome face. She was thinking if she should voice out her thoughts.

Sheng Ruming was looking at the girl in front of him. She was flushed in red as she was thinking something in her mind. Her facial expressions were changing rapidly,

After he became the CEO of his company, he had encountered many beauties who threw themselves at him countless times. But to him, these women weren't even as attractive as the girl's pouting mouth in front of him. 

Nothing was more dazzling, more eye-catching, or more captivating than her. It was as if his soul just wanted her, only her. He lifted his arms as he gently took her in his embrace. The big hall was very quiet as they were the only ones who remained there. This time she didn't struggle as she remained silent.

After some time, Luo Lixi felt a little sleepy as she yawned lightly. Her eyes were swollen due to her crying earlier. 

"Sleepy?" he asked her softly.

"Hmm..." she answered as she felt her eyelids becoming heavy. The walk in the garden was exhausting for her weak body as it was the first day of her awakening from coma. Now, she was feeling very tired.

"Then let's go upstairs." he said as he proceeded to carry her but Luo Lixi jumped away from him.

"I can walk. You don't need to carry me." she said as her sleepiness vanished in thin air.

Sheng Ruming chuckled as he looked at her flustered face. "OK, I won't. But let me help you through the stairs. I'll just hold your hand when you will be going up."

She looked at him sharply but eventually conceded. He helped her as they walked carefully and went upstairs.

When they reached before her room, Sheng Ruming didn't let go of her hand. "We've come. Now you can let go of my hand." She told him as she felt nervous in her heart.

He just remained quiet as he entered the room with her. He went to the bed as he helped her to lay down.

"I'm staying beside the next room of yours. If you need anything, just call my name. I'll come right away." he told her.

"Ok, I'll." she said as she yawned and closed both of her eyes to sleep. The duvet was very soft and comfortable. Whenever she touched it, she had the urge to laze around on it.

She tried to sleep but couldn't. When she opened her eyes, she noticed Sheng Ruming was looking down on her without saying anything.

"Why don't you go to your room and sleep?" she looked at the bedside table, it was already past twelve in the little clock. "It's very late. Go now." she urged him to go as she couldn't fall asleep before his piercing gaze.

Sheng Ruming leaned down his body as he placed his one hand beside her pillow and the other one at her smooth cheek. His slightly rough yet somewhat tender lips brushed past across her cherry lips. "Good night." he said softly as he kissed the corner of her lips lightly. 

"Hmm...Good night." she said as she gave him a smile in return.

 He tugged her under the bedsheet and went to switch off the lights. Only the dim lamp lights beside the duvet remained on. He went outside but didn't close the door as it was unnecessary. Afterwards, he went to his room.

A sweet smile bloomed on her face as she closed her eyes. She went to a dreamland where a fifteen years old boy was smiling at her tenderly as he called out her name 'Lixi'. She slept through the whole night without any problem as her face had a light peaceful expression.
